T&C Hawaii Surf Shop West - Ka Makana Ali’i Mall

There are many reasons to drive to the westside of O’ahu, fair weather, great surf, epic sunsets, and T&C Hawaii Surf Shop at Ka Makana Ali’i! Serving the growing community out west, Ka Makana Ali’i is to the leeward side, what Ala Moana Center is to town: your one stop shopping and entertainment destination. Here you can back-to-school shop at T&C Surf, grab some health supplements from GNC, do a workout at 24 Hour Fitness, grab dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and see a movie at ‘Olino. The open air venue and family vibe is inviting to both locals and visitors. The ample parking makes it easy to access, as does a courtesy shuttle going to and from many of the nearby resorts. 

The T&C Hawaii Surf Shop at Ka Makana Ali’i is our newest addition. We were one of the first stores open when the mall premiered in 2016. Since then, the mall has grown to include top brands such as Victoria's Secret and Rip Curl, to local businesses like Koa Pancake House and Razor Sports. There’s even a Foodland Farms, so you can truly shop til you drop. If you do, there’s also a Hampton Inn & Suites, as well as a Straub Medical Urgent Care Clinic. The diversity of shops that you’ll find at Ka Makana Ali’i is vast, with a bit of something for all ages and walks of life. The food selection is impressive as well with delicacies from all over the world, such as Sakura Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar, Sugarcane Chop House, CPK, The Olive Garden, Kickin’ Kajun, and the aforementioned Cheesecake Factory, only one of two on the island. 

Inside Hawaii’s surf shop at T&C Ka Makana Ali’i, you’ll find apparel from top surf brands like RVCA, Billabong, and Volcom men’s and women’s wear, as well as accessories from greats like Herschel, Yeti, and Electric Eyewear. Displayed in the ceiling are replicas of surfboards from legends like Sunny Garcia, Dane Kealoha, Larry Bertleman, and Fred Patacchia.  Although this location doesn’t stock many surfboards to sell, we do have an ample supply of soft tops, Beater Boards, and bodyboards. There is a wide selection of complete skateboards by Penny and Sector Nine, and you can even customize your own skateboard through choosing from a variety of decks, trucks and wheels. We also carry leashes, fins, track pads, bodyboard fins, and all the essentials to keep you prepared for any kine fun under the Hawaiian sun. And as always, the best deals on all your favorite T&C Surf men’s and women’s tees, tank tops, and long sleeve t-shirts. Beyond the merchandise is the backbone of Hawaii’s surf shop, our dedicated and loyal T&C staff and ohana. Each of our six store locations is run by a long standing member of our company. The surf shop at Ka Makana Ali’i is no exception. Braddah Vincent Delgado-Wells started out on the sales floor at our former Waikiki Trade Center location back in 2005. As the years went on, he became a supervisor at Pearlridge, Assistant Manager at Windward Mall, Store Manager at our former Ward Center, and now 17 years later, he’s Store Manager for Ka Makana Ali'i. “Braddah Vince” along with his crew at T&C Surf Ka Makana Ali’i are keeping the tradition alive of what a surf shop is: a place for the watermen and women to find all they need to keep them in the water, active, healthy, and loving the surf.
